Time of men

I remember back then,

Back when men were men.

No bickering back and forth,

Authority was earned without force.

Sternness of a man’s voice,

Opposing wasn’t a choice.

Duty and honor,

Done without a choir.

Not worried about next door,

But willing to help a neighbor.

Didn’t listen to cries of few,

Knew what is actually true.

Helped those in trouble,

Not one popping another’s bubble.

Men who had dominion,

Not causing division.

Men not worried about losing,

Had all of their choosing.

Appreciated what they had,

Took a loss with smile and glad.

Knowing that each test,

Gets him closer to his best.

Men weren’t just reacting,

But taking true action.

Kept his house in order,

Before thoughts of world disorder.

So when evil looks to be winning,

He knows it’s only the beginning.

Stayed calm and unshaken,

Time for them to awaken.

Some guys will realize,

It’s time for Men to rise.
