What’s love got to do with it?

What’s something most people don’t understand?

Why is it so hard to find love? Some say there are different kinds of love. There’s multiple choices and I ccouldn’t find one? What if I said there is only one love? That it should be felt the same for everyone.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬. “For God so loved the world” this verse isn’t talking about the physical earth, Jesus didn’t come to hug the trees and fight for climate change. God so loved every single person that was and would be in the world that he gave his son’s life that each one had a way to eternal life. Isn’t that the greatest gift anyone could give, the cure for death? Shouldn’t we want that for everyone? (Now there are extremes to this case would take a lot of finessing to get to an agreement however, to those who have not be wronged atrociously by someone)

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬. If one truly loves another, they cannot do wrong to them. Love doesn’t deceive, hurt, cheat, gossip, or envy. Love doesn’t question motives, distrust, or act callously. Love does not wrong intentionally, asks or extends forgiveness when it does and repents. Love doesn’t make excuses or need to, It’s understanding and void of pride.

I believe this type of love is so foreign to some that it seems like a fantasy. That this type of love is not possible. The acceptance that it is, is the realization that God is real. Only through Christ is this pure form of love possible. It’s here, available to be accepted and felt by everyone. Gods love is what I believe most people don’t understand but I pray that more will come to know it.
