What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
What is this question meant to inspire? A thought about a meal and whether or not it’s high value was worth it? Is this meant to be a form of boast? That I could afford a meal that wasn’t worth it? Or that I was able to afford a meal that was so expensive, it was?
That’s a lot of deep thought for a vain outcome. I’d rather be grateful I get to eat and find better inspiration:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
Inspired: outstanding or brilliant in a way or to a degree suggestive of divine (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Philippians 4:8 KJV
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2 KJV
Very true!
