Anxiously unfaithful

Anxious is a state absent of faith. To be anxious is to doubt your path. To doubt your path is to question the One who set it before you. To question the One is a lack of faith. Being anxious can be a common thing but when it occurs reassure that whatever happens, through faith, it will be done according to His will. Perspective of the results will confirm faith or cause further questioning. So why are we anxious? Any situation will have a beginning and an end. So are we anxious about how it will end or that simply our expectations may not be met? If we know to make the best decisions for the right reasons, and we also know through faith that our needs will be met, then we shall either be grateful for what we have or desire more. Change your perspective, change your life. What’s left to be anxious about?

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The drive

Endless miles and hours ahead,

Trying to calm the racing in my head.

Anxious about the path,

Obstacles are coming up fast.

Trying to plan every turn,

But things change fast I learn.

Accidents can be abound,

Do I reroute and go around.

Longer route for a detour,

Is that better than before.

What will get us there quick,

To drive around or sit in traffic.

Why do I even worry,

Always in such a hurry.

Why so anxious about the path,

And not enjoy it before it’s past.

20 hours on the road. All alone and left to my thoughts. A chance to see where my mind will go. Did not go well. Constant battle to stay positive and keep faith. Worried about problems that don’t yet exist. Trying to plan for if they do. The longer I think the worse the problems become. Driving myself crazy with worst case scenarios. This isn’t the way to think. Thoughts can manifest reality so I have to be careful. Stay positive and keep faith. Problems will happen, they always have, but they get solved as fast as they come. So why worry today about the problems of tomorrow? Today has enough problems, like staying focused and not rear ending the car in front of me with my world inside of it. We will get there-Today, tomorrow, and the next day.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Detach from this world

I’ve lived in the world of material. The desire for material to be quickly extinguished soon after it’s acquired. An endless search for what will bring happiness. Confusion all around and answer can not be found. Stress and anxiety manufactured by the idea of a limited life. Live to the fullest because tomorrow isn’t promised. It’s a good notion but what does it recommend. How do you live to the fullest if you don’t know what brings fulfillment? Life is short is one of the greatest lies told. Can cause a sense of urgency that is unnecessary. An urgency to acquire or experience this material world. As the clock tics and your mindless search for answers through social media, books, and the internet marches on, our urgency increases. Either we wake up and realize we are given all we need or give up and give in allowing this world to swallow you whole and engulf us in darkness. One day you may see the light and make it out of the darkness. Brought into the light so you can finally see. This life is not the end and pure happiness is beyond this world. We are here for experience and to feel emotions only afforded to the flesh. Once we shed our flesh we are finally set free. You cannot be of this world and also live eternally. To yearn for death will not be understood by those of this world. To detach yourself from the material allows your mind to focus on what is truly meant for us to experience. It can eliminate the urgency to acquire material. Allow you to go after what will bring fulfillment and not just a desire. We are blocked from our full potential by fear. Fear that our path may not bring what we don’t actually need. A legacy built of material can be burned or stolen, while one built through spirit can not. Build a legacy that can transcend material and generations to come. Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.

Living dead

We can go through this life,

Running on emotion in strife.

What our purpose is,

How we are to exist.

Never ending search for happiness,

Thinking temporary pleasures are bliss.

Momentary lapses sprinkled in,

A life of pain and confusion.

You can stay in the life of earthly pleasure,

And the pain will endure.

Exist in a constant state,

Of anger, envy, fear, and hate.

After it’s over and the pain is through,

You’ll have death to look forward to.

Or submit yourself to something pure,

And ask for Him to show you the cure.

Simply Glory

Why do we complicate life? Something as simple as a word we complicate. We take words and twist their meaning to the point the original definition is lost. We overuse a word until it’s weight is lifted. We get bored with simple and try to change original creation. That will only lead to confusion. The more we confuse communication the weaker we become. Our power is in each other, by building up others we build up ourselves. Together is our strength. So we get divided by barriers set by countless entities. Languages , cultures, beliefs, borders, religion, are all man made. Any system made by man without pure creation is corrupt. Medical field is one of those systems. We lose God so we fear death. Through that fear man creates ways to cheat death. We end up cheating ourselves. When we try to modify the original creation it begins to weaken.

There is one Word that if you believe then you know it’s true. To live by the Word makes this crazy world, simple. Help and give to others as a blessing. We give to others and then expect return. Something that could be simple is now complicated by expectations and emotions. Take out expectations and you remove bad emotions. We complicate relationships with deceit, we deceive others who we are for either fear they won’t like our true person or to try an match what society at that time deems an attractive persona. Others create an image of wealth that is unsustainable to quench the desire for material. The desire for popularity can make you lose who you really are, whether or not your quest for fame succeeds. There’s one relationship where the quest for its attention and love can make all other aspects of life better. Through a relationship with God you try and become a better person through your desire to grow your faith and deepen your love. Deepen your love through others and bring glory back to Him.

Sticks and stones…

Don’t you love throwing stones?

Skipping rocks is the shit.

The perfect stone with enough weight, perfect corner for your pointer finger to grasp, and smooth side to glide across the water in a big curve until it’s choppy end.

Nothing like looking at a perfect like glass lake and destroying its serenity with some childish enjoyment…

My favorite time to throw rocks was when my pops was fishing…

He did not enjoy that….

Another one is throwing rocks at people…

Right….

Hey I found out some of your flaws, bam hit ‘em right in the face with it… hahahaha

Now it can be teasing and innocent. But it can create demons.

Ive done it but I’ve realized it’s a very low and destructive form of conversation, so I try to avoid it now.

But I’ll sit at the thanksgiving table and I’ll listen to you throwing stones at everyone around you…

Flogging the fuck out of everyone… get it gurl you’re so right….

But don’t direct those eyes at me….

I mean you can I’m fine with it…

I’m ready to hear my stones, and I’ll own them because I know I’m not perfect and we’ve all lived this experience lost in our own way, but are you?

Let’s go you want to throw stones?

Let’s play catch… always down to air out the arm…..

But I hope when it’s over we both feel as good as throwing in the air, goal post to goal post, cause if not maybe we shouldn’t have started… so just pass me the gravy and enjoy the meal, I love you…..

Possible

What is possible

What constitutes impossible?

You can’t do that,

Wish you the best,.

Hope it works out,

Pray for thou.

Doubts, worries and fears,

Get mixed with envy and tears.

It’s going to be tough,

It’s possible but rough.

It can be done,

Pray you have fun.

Mixed emotions will happen,

But keep faith and devotion.

Pray for health and what is possible,

Through Him nothing is impossible.

Snowflakes

Simple can be complex,

And complex might be so simple.

Small things can turn into large.

And large can turn into rubble.

The pure snowflake falls,

Born from the kingdom of all.

Fresh, frozen, flawless and just,

It’s journey is full of corruption and dust.

And As it falls it’s next to another,

Some attract and fall together.

Others keep their solo decent,

Gets close to others but alone as of present.

Their directions alter with a single gust,

Destination unknown can only trust.

Ground, tree, north or south,

Into a puddle or a thirsty mouth.

Once they land they can collect,

Ground, tree, back of an insect.

Mound the ground or line a branch,

Can form an igloo or an avalanche.

Different paths all lead to the slaughter,

As they melt and turn back into water.

Can’t collect on what is not owed.

Blood debt:

If blood is paid with blood,

Then when is it paid?

When do the debts stop?

When there is no more blood.

Revenge is not for people,

Everyone has someone.

IOUs won’t end,

Until there’s no one left.

Learn to forgive and realize,

Revenge is for Him not human guys.
