Everyone has faith

The atheists ask how the Christians have faith in a God they cannot see. Since He is unseen he cannot be real. In light of that fact, the alternative is to put your faith in nothing. You believe that beyond us there is nothing. After this life is nothing. There isn’t a purpose or meaning for being here. No matter what you do it means nothing. Beyond what you know to be real, there is nothing. I’d be angry too and demand a reason for having to feel that alone.

I’d be mad at God for not choosing to reveal himself to me too. I know I would be because I used to be. I used to be mad when I didn’t receive for all the good I thought I was doing. I was frustrated when life wasn’t going the way I wanted it to. I felt I was doing enough good to make up for the evil, so that I deserved some type of afterlife, but I couldn’t even decide on what that would be like.

Confused why I had to feel wrong for doing what I wanted. It’s my life right? Why can’t I just be left alone? If I am alone, who is to tell me I’m wrong? I can’t be judged by nothing. No one knows me better than me so I know what I need best. If that’s true then why can’t I fix the parts of me I don’t like? I hated that part of me that told me I was wrong.

If I was doing what deep down I knew was wrong, which part of me did I truly hate? I hated the part of me that was telling me I was wrong but not showing me why. How could it? I didn’t know that part of me so how would I know if it was even telling me something? “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Matthew 13:13 KJV.

A parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. My story is simple but I pray it illustrates a lesson. I hope someone sees and hears that I know what you are going thru. I’m not better than you, in ways I was you. I had all the same reasons you do now. I pray you start to listen to the part of you that you don’t know. The joyful and loving part of you that you want to become all of you. That part of you is Jesus and he is waiting for you to let him in. He will fill any part of you that is missing. Fix the part that is broken. Heal the part that is hurting. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 KJV. And He is not nothing, He is everything. Amen

That all it could take is one verse.

What makes you laugh?

All it takes is one verse

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:”

2 Peter 1:1 KJV

The book of Peter was written by the Apostle Simon Peter around 64 AD, before he was martyred by King Nero in 68 AD. Peter who is introduced as “a servant (one who gives himself up to another’s will , those whose service is used by Christ in extending and advancing his cause among men) and an apostle (a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders), of Jesus Christ. Peter, who is a servant messenger, wrote this letter “to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”

Is it written to just those that have obtained? Are we to read this letter as just what he wrote to people of that time, or should we read as it was written directly to us, by the messenger with orders from Jesus Christ, Amen. To us because we “have obtained”, received by divine allotment, chosen to receive by the casting of lots; which are pebbles used for systematically making decisions. Casting lots which is the act of using stones to make a decision, like plucking a daisy and/or (because sometimes we have to check twice) flipping a coin, when we used to leave things up to chance. We didn’t trust Jesus, or most likely didn’t know him at all, we let a stone make a decision for us.

Lot is also a word for portion; which means recompense; compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered, or retribution; punishment inflicted on someone as vengeance for a wrong or criminal act. “The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; Therefore will I hope in him.” Lamentations 3:24 KJV. So by not trusting in Jesus we cast a lot and put our faith in a pebble instead of The Stone, by casting a lot without care one could be tossing away their lot or portion, which is our reward for Jesus paying the price for our sin.

Rejoice that Jesus is not like us, and us “obtaining like precious faith” doesn’t happen by chance. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 KJV. We have received our portion by divine allotment, which is the amount of something ALLOCATED; distribute resources or duties for a particular purpose, to a particular person. Simon Peter who was ordered by Jesus, wrote a letter to all; past, present, future, who (particular person) have been chosen (for a particular purpose) by the Casting Stone, Jesus Christ, amen.

If you are receiving this letter, what else have you obtained? So far we have obtained Jesus Christ and a letter from him but wait, there’s more (little salesman pitch) “Like precious faith” has also come into our lives. Like, equally precious, equally honored, to be esteemed equal to, precious faith which is of great value; not to be wasted or treated carelessly, amen. Faith which is the conviction of truth, and trust in God or in Christ with faithfulness of continual loyalty and support. And with this you are not alone.

Its written to Those who have received equally precious faith with us? If Peter is writing this letter how can there be an us? Can’t only one person be writing a letter? As said before Peter is a slave to the will of Jesus Christ. Us is then Simon Peter and Jesus? Yes and no, us is those that have received and will receive Jesus, equally as one. As Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 1:13 “Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?” No, “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism,” Ephesians 4:4-5 KJV. This letter was written with one man’s hand in service to Jesus, to all those who have or will receive Jesus, so if you a receiving this message I have good news, amen.

The good news is that “through the righteousness of God and Jesus Christ” you have received Jesus. If you are receiving this message and feel it in your heart, you were chosen from before time began by the Casting Stone. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 KJV. Amen.

Before this letter was written, you were chosen to receive it. In equal time that those who received this letter from Simon Peter, you have also received it. You, the new creation in Jesus Christ now a slave to his will. Again I read, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 KJV. Everything that will be done, has been done already. To those who worry about what your works will be or fear if you will do them , fear not for they have already been done through Jesus. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 KJV. To those who worry about the problems you may have, they have already been solved through Jesus. “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 KJV. God has taken care of every worry or fear and all he asks for in return is, “that which is past”, for us to follow Him.

Now that we have received the message in the first verse, let us move on to receive the rest message from Simeon Peter. The rest of this message is concerning our problems we may face on the inside along our walk. Let us learn how to keep a closer watch on our personal lives as well pursuing the characteristics or virtues that come with living a righteous life. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV. I pray we all continue receiving guidance from God to walk in His will so that we do not waste the precious gift that has been given to us through the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory now and forever, Amen.

2 Peter 1:2 “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,”

The second verse affirms that if we study Gods word and learn who He and Jesus are, that through this knowledge, grace and peace will abound within us. I feel the more I study and learn Gods word, the more I gain confidence I am following Gods will for my life. I become more faithful in my first instinct because its no longer my instinct. Before, my first instinct was my own and was what led me down a dark path but back then I had zero knowledge of our Lord and Saviour. I believe that grace and peace is multiplied on us when we can rest in the Lord that He is making the decisions in our lives now, for us and by us trusting in Him. We trust in Him by filtering all our decisions through his word, which then is not us but the Holy Spirit working within us. The more we read and replace our previous knowledge with that of the word, the more the Bible becomes our conscience.

Do you ask yourself when making decisions, what is Gods will for me to do?

How often do you follow through with that decision?

Also in this verse, my bible references Daniel 4:1 King Nebuchadnezzer is blessing peace upon all people, nations and languages. Next verse King Nebuchadnezzar feels he should show the signs and wonders God has “wrought toward” him. Through reading and gaining knowledge of God we see miracles after miracles that God hath performed, we also see how His power is glorified also through his wrath. We know the Bible to be true, all these events occurred and people forgot Him. Now, here we are 2000 years from the greatest miracle, and He is more forgotten than any period biblical or since. Now filtering the world through His eyes what do we see. Hate like never before with division across endless agendas, wars for reasons nobody knows and will only be remembered by which side is writing the history books, greed and prices for a soul has gone up, afraid to say hello or interact with a stranger when most don’t even know who the true enemy is. Like Nebuchadnezzar, we are all beasts of a field. Knowing of his glory, we carry on grazing in disbelief. Even those saved are out to pasture in the vastness of his wisdom. Comfort comes in faith that even though we will always fall short, our Lord and Saviour will always lift us up. Knowing Jesus was a gift from God who loved us enough to give us His only begotten son. It is in His name we are saved, and it is through Him that we pray. In Jesus name, Amen.

What’s love got to do with it?

What’s something most people don’t understand?

Why is it so hard to find love? Some say there are different kinds of love. There’s multiple choices and I ccouldn’t find one? What if I said there is only one love? That it should be felt the same for everyone.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬. “For God so loved the world” this verse isn’t talking about the physical earth, Jesus didn’t come to hug the trees and fight for climate change. God so loved every single person that was and would be in the world that he gave his son’s life that each one had a way to eternal life. Isn’t that the greatest gift anyone could give, the cure for death? Shouldn’t we want that for everyone? (Now there are extremes to this case would take a lot of finessing to get to an agreement however, to those who have not be wronged atrociously by someone)

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬. If one truly loves another, they cannot do wrong to them. Love doesn’t deceive, hurt, cheat, gossip, or envy. Love doesn’t question motives, distrust, or act callously. Love does not wrong intentionally, asks or extends forgiveness when it does and repents. Love doesn’t make excuses or need to, It’s understanding and void of pride.

I believe this type of love is so foreign to some that it seems like a fantasy. That this type of love is not possible. The acceptance that it is, is the realization that God is real. Only through Christ is this pure form of love possible. It’s here, available to be accepted and felt by everyone. Gods love is what I believe most people don’t understand but I pray that more will come to know it.

Unwavering Faith

What’s a secret skill or ability you have or wish you had?

Even though I don’t wish, I pray for unwavering faith. A faith that would allow one to walk on water. Jesus said that one with the faith of a mustard seed can move mountains. I pray for faith that removes the slightest bit of doubt within me. That gives me confidence that all things work for the good of those that love God. That no matter how my situation looks it’s going to work out. All I have to do is seek the kingdom first and all things shall be added on. Faith in the power of these words given from inspiration of God. Pray to rest in the peace afforded by such faith that all my problems are taken care of by the Creator of the Universe and they are no longer mine to be concerned with. With such Grace all I need to do is love. Love God by loving others, forgiving others, and being whatever they need me to be. An ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a fan to cheer them on, or a light to guide them. True fruits come through such faith and such is the ability I wish I had.

Spittle and clay

Since I read for the first time, when Jesus cured the blind man by mixing his spit with clay, I’ve wondered why he used his spit. I have always been repulsed by spit, mostly from when I was little and my brother would torture me by pinning me to the ground and yo-yo his spit in my face until I would scream. After reading more of the Bible I believe that Jesus did this to show us that He is the Great Potter and we are his creation.

The first aspect of this is that we are all created for a purpose. That purpose may conflict with our expectations or desires. This conflict can cause such emotions as regret, anger, depression, and envy. Gratitude is completely lacking in these situations. Who are we to tell God that we are unhappy with how he created us? Or to say that what we are going through shouldn’t be? This disobedience usually leads to a spiraling effect where one thing happens after another. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” Romans 1:28 KJV. I believe in these times God is telling us “if you thinks it’s that bad then I can show you worse”. Not necessarily in a punishing manner but to show us how much he can pull us through if we are walking with Him. “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” Hebrews 12:6 KJV.

Acceptance of how and why we were created leads to true joy in life. The acceptance of this can causes a severe humbling to our ego. “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?” Romans 9:21 KJV. To submit to God as a lump of clay and allow His Spirit to guide you to your true purpose will bring fulfillment in life. “Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.” Luke 17:33 KJV. This is a tough pill to swallow but it can heal any broken life.

Both prior aspects are similar in the aspect that one’s current situation is conflicting with expectations. Now let’s say one’s life is going as “expected”. However, expectations are continuing to be pushed and the finish line for fulfillment is constantly moving. Pottery’s purpose is determined upon creation. A vase is used as a vase and a bowl as a bowl. Trying to constantly mold to a new purpose causes cracks and breaks in the vessel. One purpose of a man is provider, but the requirements of providing for a growing appetite, of self or family, expand and expand causing the vessel to expand until its unsustainable, vessel succumbs to stress and explodes. This can result in frustration, irritability, break downs, depression and more negative potentially worse consequences. This is only one example of countless scenarios where the lack of true fulfillment causes endless striving.

Another aspect is when some ask if there is a God, then why are people born with disabilities such as being born blind? In this case the man was born blind “And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?” John 9:2 KJV. “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.” John 9:3 KJV. This shows that even what some see as weaknesses can be used for the glory of God. How often we see people with “disabilities” but are able to accomplish amazing feats. This is only possible when those who are born “different” accept that fact and chose to find its purpose.

So why does Jesus use his spit and clay to heal the blind? To show us that we are his creation, his pottery. That with just a little of him he can mend any broken pot and make us a new creation. “And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.” Luke 5:37-38 KJV. Allow Jesus to heal you, even if it doesn’t seem in a way you might accept, and use you for His purpose, which will bring true joy and fulfillment.

What God does won’t always make sense to us. Why would I go through such an experience from my brother like the yo-yo spit game? Regardless of my brothers motives, through that experience God used it to attract me to this verse and gave me a better understanding through it. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV. Glory be to God.

His word is Truth

“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.”

John 5:28-29 NIV

Every word is truth. What man could write this? It’s more believable that a man born in this world, lived a life like any of us, and could have the ambition to say or write this and not be of God? A person would speak of such a time as this? To tell people all they have to do is make the right choices here in this life and they will rise to eternity, and not be the words of God? No agenda, no back door deal, there’s no endorsement or anything taken from those that believe. What is the catch of such a bargain? That we have to love? Forgive? Be honest? Be happy for others and grateful for our own? To be mindful of others and help when we can? What benefit would man have in telling others to be such a light in a dark place? That to receive this, all we have to do is believe in Him. Only God can grant such grace to man. No man could write these words on paper without it being truth.

Now that this word is truth, what comfort it brings to know this truth. That by living a life that brings true joy, we will one day rise with Him eternally. Regardless of what happens it’s all for the glory of God, he may use us at times that are hard, we can’t see all the ripples our interactions have. Make a call to someone hoping to gain encouragement in that hard time and end up blessing them as well. “My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; Neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” Proverbs 3:11-12 KJV. Our difficult seasons are meant to teach us and grow our faith. I ask myself what do I have to lose? If by submitting to God and watch how he uses my life for His glory, I will receive eternal life? Even during those hard times, it’s our wavering faith that makes those seasons tougher. He tells us to submit all worries and fears to Him. He fed five thousand with five loaves and two fishes, he healed with a touch, and gave sight to the blind. What are you going through that he cannot fix? It may not go the way we want and what we may lose here in this life pales in comparison of what we will gain, if we trust and believe in Him.

All Glory be to God. Thank you Jesus for showing us the way. I pray to continue to learn the truth that cannot be denied in Your word, and spread Your love that will save anyone who accepts it. Amen.

Statute of limitations on hypocrisy

How long does it take for someone to be allowed to change? How long must one wait to condemn their own previous actions? What’s the time frame until one doesn’t have to be considered “that person” anymore?

All this is dependent upon each person. Some are quick to forgive and others hold onto other’s mistakes or past behaviors. Why? There’s is a myriad of reasons why one would choose not to forgive. Blame it on the amount of pain the person caused, the length of time the actions occurred for, the unbelief that someone can change regardless of time, or holding onto this perception of them in an attempt to hinder that person from becoming better. When someone is constantly treated as who they used to be it’s hard for them to become someone new. If the past behavior is someone they shouldn’t be, then why remind them of or hold them to that perception.

Unbelief in the ability for someone to change can cause one to tempt the others “darkness” to see if it’s still there. Once the “old self” flashes it’s faint existence, the tempter parades their triumph in being able to expose, what they believe is, the others “true” self. Instead of forgiving, they hold the burden on the other person to exhibit zero trace of their old self regardless of what stimuli is presented to bring out their demons. Would you dangle drugs in front of a recovering addict then blame them for taking the bait? The same is true for someone recovering from any dark way. Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. Flaws aren’t easily forgotten as a way to keep one from rising above another. Some also hold onto other’s flaws and mistakes to make themselves feel better. In the end, forgiving someone is not about them it’s about ourselves.

The statute of limitations for ourselves all depends on self. While some forgive themselves quickly and others may hold onto their past. I’ve tried to understand my past and things that led up to who I was. I didn’t have to let my past affect me as it did and make me who I was, but I did. I was sinking in darkness and searched for answers through the world. My decisions back then led to more guilt and shame that could only be remedied by the next bad decision. I was unable to forgive myself and move past my old ways so I searched for others just as lost to make myself feel normal or tried to make others feel as I did. I was lost in utter darkness without anything or anyone to guide me out. I was unable to forgive myself because I blamed everything else for my problems and made unexplainable excuses for everything I did. I didn’t know how to truly change or forgive.

There are times now when things go wrong I forget about God’s loving grace and think I am being punished for my past but that is wrong. Life is suppose to have trials and tribulations to make us stronger. If all trials are looked upon as punishment the true lesson or growth can be missed. I believe we convict ourselves more than God does, especially when it comes to our past.

I am thankful for Jesus showing me a better way and waking me up to the truth of how I was living. Through reading the word of God I have learned how small actions of wrong can lead down a path of utter darkness. My words now contradict how I used to act but I know I am forgiven through Jesus and it is with that confidence I convict those old actions and know I am not a hypocrite because that is not who I am. I’m sure when some, who knew me before, may hear what I say now not truly believe or are skeptical. I believe that’s why it is said: “But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” Mark 6:4 KJV. Now, not saying I’m a prophet in any meaning of the word but the point is that people who know us from the past will be skeptical of change and not truly receive what might be said. It’s because of their inability to forgive.

In the end, what is the statute of limitations on hypocrisy? The statute lasts as long as we hold on. Hold on to regret, remorse, bitterness, pride, and not let go with forgiveness. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 NIV. “But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:15 NIV. God is limitless just as things can be over in an instant or last forever. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NIV. I pray you forgive someone. In Jesus name, Amen.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.””

Matthew 19:26 NIV

Where are you?

In this very moment, where are you? Your body may be in a certain spot but is your mind there as well? How often we are in one place but our minds are fractured amongst numerous stresses, worries, or fears. I can recall times when I would be driving and after many miles I would snap out of the thought coma and realize I have no idea how I got to where I was. That happens to us in our lives. We can go hours, days, weeks, months, or maybe even years constantly thinking outside of the current moment we are in and finally snap out of it and realize how much time has been spent without knowing fully how we got to where we are. Where did it all go wrong? Why is it like this? Now questions of regret can pile on top of everything else. So how can one truly live in the moment? By leaning on, trusting in, and fully submitting to God.

The journey through faith can be hard or confusing at times. I’ve been through many different perspectives when trying to lean on God. One perspective was bordering on apathy. I would tell myself that no matter how bad this path got that I just won’t care. If it gets too hard or bad I’ll just check out mentally and not care or just accept “what is”. Why would I think that by leaning on God I would have to endure something so terrible? I believe it’s because I feel sinful and undeserving. These are the times I’m forgetting about grace and that we don’t deserve anything but God blesses us in abundance because he loves us.

Another perspective I would go through would be my sacrificial bartering. I would go back and forth about if I lost this or never got that. I would run scenarios is my mind about how much I could lose before I could no longer bear it. I would drive myself to the brink of madness with the endless bartering to the point where I felt like telling God to take it all at once so I didn’t have to endure the thoughts anymore. A Kind of ripping off the band aid. Again my first mistake was forgetting grace but also I realized that by bartering material I was idolizing many things before God. Anything that I could lose that would make me lose faith is something that was keeping me separated from God.

I start to think of my old life and how much material I had then and all the “fun” I was having but how empty I felt. God has since filled that void that no amount of material could ever fill and He can never be taken away from me or me from Him.

Through all this I’ve learned that none of this matters. Why worry about what may happen or what I might lose or even gain for that matter? We can lose nothing or gain more than we can even imagine. Why add unnecessary stress by trying to predict what we can’t control?

Infinite variables are scattered throughout our futures. Most likely by being absent in anxious thought we manifest our worst realities. If one’s mind is focused on the worst that can happen we will be looking for signs that it’s coming to fruition. When we are driving to a destination what do we do? We look for signs to get us there. So if we are navigating our lives looking for signs that our worst outcome is coming up we will navigate ourselves right into it.

Instead, as God tells us, try not leaning on your own understanding and lean on Him. Cast all your cares on Him and trust Him with them. Also, do not worry about the cares of tomorrow. Ward off every bad thought and be fully aware of where you are right now. Take it in and enjoy it completely. You are here, you are alive. I’m sure you are going through a tough time, most are but don’t waste another moment on thoughts that don’t make it any easier.

Be here in this moment, the present. Faith allows one to unburden their mind. Unburdens desire, fear, envy, anger, and all thoughts that blanket true life. All things are possible through Gods gift and the promise of eternal life can start this present moment. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 KJV

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Proverbs 3:5 KJV

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Matthew 6:34 KJV

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

Faithfulfillment

Many people can attest to the power of astrology or mediums. People who claim that thru signs or spirits they are given direction for their life. Punch in a coordinate on the GPS and faithfully follow it to the destination. Regardless of wrong turns or obstacles you’ll truly believe it’ll get you there. Our future is determined by which course we fully put our faith in. Being told by a medium, guided by the daily astrology, or even determined by self, if you put your faith fully in which ever direction, you will eventually arrive there. What if your destination is beyond anything you could ever imagine? That by trying to think of or discover the destination on your own, actually limits its potential.

Think about how much brain power is used to figure out how to attain the desired future or how to avoid anything that could become an obstacle. Constantly stressing any deviation, worrying about what could go wrong, or even thinking ahead endlessly to be “proactive”. How much is left to take in the moment? To live for the now and be present. It truly is a gift from God to be able to live in the moment. To be grateful for every moment and not have to worry about what’s going to happen.

It’s hard to fully put your faith in God and to believe all that is promised. That He will provide for us all that we need, that no enemy shall overcome, and that we are deserving of an eternal life with Him. An astrologer we can be related, a medium can be met, but God has to be believed. Every word accepted and trusted. Unlike the astrology of the day we don’t agree with, every word must be followed. We won’t be perfect at it. We might take a wrong turn or miss the right one but faith in God’s guidance will lead one to the ultimate destination. The only coordinate needed to get there is faith. Enjoy the journey.

“All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. These are not coals for warmth; this is not a fire to sit by. That is all they are to you— these you have dealt with and labored with since childhood. All of them go on in their error; there is not one that can save you.” Isaiah 47:13-15 NIV

““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”

Proverbs 3:5 NIV

“He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.”

Psalms 111:5 NIV

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3 NIV

He’s really real

Is this right?

Is God real?

Why does this feel wrong?

Is God real?

Should I do this?

Is God real?

Why am I here?

Is God real?

What causes good and what causes evil?

Is God real?

Why would this happen?

Is God real?

Every question,

When broken down.

Every decision,

Only one truth can be found.

It’s what you truly know and feel.

God is REAL!!!

If He is real than every word is true. Jesus lived a sinless life and through Him we will be seen as sinless too. No matter what happens in this life, You are saved through Jesus Christ. God is real and His word is truth.

“And this is what he promised us—eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬
